Certified power trader 2010
Svensk Energi and Nord Pool jointly offer a complete educational package leading to certification as a power trader. This package is primarily aimed at Swedish participants.
Learning is provided through six course modules, which makes it possible to choose the level achieved in line with personal needs and interests.
It is aimed at people working in various roles with power trading. Those seeking an introduction to the way the power market functions are recommended to take module 1 on the power market and risk.
This defines and explains basic concepts and terms. Once that module has been completed, people can choose to continue with one or more of the other courses.
People intending to work professionally on power trading issues should opt for the full package.
Those who complete all six modules will be able to take a certification test. This is conducted via the web at the end of each term, at no extra cost for those taking the full package.
